Experienced conservators and entomologists teach strategies in depth, including identifying problem insects.
On this specialist course, experienced conservators and entomologists will demonstrate how the Natural History Museum’s strategy works in practice.
About this course
Building on the Museum’s one-day course, this three-day course looks in depth at how to embed pest management into collection care processes.
The course will be delivered from the Museum, which provides a rich physical environment to apply learning as it features both the historic Waterhouse building and The Darwin Centre - a recent new build constructed with pest management integrated into the design.
The course will be led by our pest management team with input from our conservation team and entomologists from our Life Sciences department. It will be structured, participative and stimulating.
Delegates will get printed course materials which will be used on the day and can be taken away for future reference.
