Father Christmas is coming to the Museum this December! Join us for a unique storytelling experience. 

Sunday 1 to Sunday 15 December 
10.15–11.00, 11.30–12.15, 12.45–3.30, 14.00–14.45, 15.15–16.00 and 16.30–17.15

Adult: Free, Child: £17, Member: £13.60

This December come and visit Father Christmas in his wintery wonderland here with us.

In this magical experience join Father Christmas for a special Christmas story and have your photo taken with him afterwards.

This event is suitable for all ages. Our 10.15 slot will be a SEN session suitable for a neurodivergent audience. For more information, call our ticketing team on +44 (0)20 7942 5000 or email us at after-hours@nhm.ac.uk.

Each child’s ticket comes with up to two adults and includes a gift from Father Christmas.

  • Important information

    The event will take place in Marine Invertebrates in the Blue Zone.

    This 45-minute storytelling experience includes a photo opportunity and a small gift from Santa in the ticket price.

    There'll be one gift per paid ticket. 

    Suitable for all ages.

    Don’t forget to bring an electronic or printed copy of your ticket. 

    A paid ticket is needed to be admitted into the event. Children under 18 months do not need a ticket, so long as they are accompanying a ticket holder. 

    Unfortunately, we can’t give refunds or exchanges.

    Our ticket prices can change.

    This event is wheelchair accessible.

    We reserve the right to make any necessary changes to the event as required, such as adjusting the locations, timings or content of the activities. This is to ensure that we deliver a safe and excellent experience for all guests at all times.

    We may carry out photography and filming during the event for marketing purposes for our website, social media and printed publicity materials. You may be identifiable, so if you have any concerns about being photographed, speak to our staff at the event.
