Acting as a researcher and also providing research support, I work in parasitology research projects and also maintain infrastructure to support us in our role as a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for the identification and characterisation of schistosomes and their snail intermediate hosts. My research interests focus on host/parasite interactions, genetics and biology, particularly schistosomes (blood flukes) and their snail intermediate hosts.
