With a love of minerals, gemstones and geology, it is an honour to be working at the NHM as a custodian of the Gem and Mineral Collections.

I am a motivated Museum professional with over 20 years of mineralogical expertise, and academic qualification in Geology and Gemmology. My career has been forged within the Museum, private mineral collector, and mining sectors.

My role at the NHM focuses on the management, development, care, and preservation of the Gem and Mineral collections of ~185,000 specimens, and I am lead Curator of the Gem Collection of ~4,000 specimens. I am also involved in the upkeep of the specimens in the Mineral Gallery and Vault, Hintze Hall, Earth's Treasury galleries, and the Earth Gallery Ground Floor atrium.

My research interests lie in the science of gemstones and the history of the collections.
