Summary
As senior curator of Marine Mollusca, I am responsible for the curation of the Museum's marine gastropods collections, which is one of the largest resources of its kind in the world. My role includes overseeing visitors to the section, dealing with enquiries, loans, destructive sampling, and exhibition requests, as well as maintaining the sectional library and archive and documenting and digitising parts of the collection.My main research interests includes history of collecting, collectors, collections, voyages and expeditions in malacology, mostly from the 18th and 19th centuries.
